Registration & identification with the eID function of your ID document

    In the following article we will show you how to register for  KulturPass. Once registered, you can identify yourself to unlock the KulturPass budget.

    How can I use KulturPass?

    1.  Register for  KulturPass  – accessible for everyone
       - unlocks the following functions: set profile and preferences, save favorites, "Feeling lucky" and "Inspire me".  
    2.  Identify for KulturPass – accessible from March 1, 2024 for all those born in 2006 and living in Germany
      Identification for the 2005 cohort was possible until December 31, 2023.
       - unlocks the KulturPass budget (which you will receive from your 18th birthday)

    For people who do not have the option of obtaining an ID card with an online function, we offer an alternative verification option in collaboration with cooperating organisations. Further information can be found here: Alternative verification.

    Since mid-September 2024, Sparkasse customers also have the option of identifying themselves via Sparkasse online banking. Further information here: Unlocking the budget with your Sparkasse bank account (identification).

    If you do not meet the requirements for the KulturPass budget, you can still use the app or website.  For example, you can use it to find out what your neighborhood offers culturally.
