There are several features that you can use to explore the offers in the KulturPass app.
The offers are already displayed on your home page ("For you" tab). By default, "Things I like" are listed. You set these preferences when you registered. However, you can easily change them under "Profile" and "Customize preferences".
How to search for offers:
Set your location
You can set your location to help you find what you are looking for in the KulturPass. You can do this either by geolocation or by entering a postcode. Either way, you will be shown offers in your area. You can also set a maximum radius of 50 km.
You set your location when you register. If you have entered a postcode and want to change it later, e.g., because you are visiting another city and want to find offers there, you can go to "Profile" and select "Customize Preferences" and change your postcode.
Search tool
In the app menu at the bottom you will find the “Search” option. The search tool allows you to search for specific offers, for example by event or book title. You can also search for the name of the provider, for example a bookshop or music store, to find offers.
You can also set filters in the Search tool to narrow down your search, for example to "concerts and stage" if you are looking for a festival. You can also select a date or set a price range.
Here are some important tips to help you use the app:
- Location access: By default, the app accesses your location to show you relevant results. If you have turned off location sharing, the postcode you have saved in 'Profile' -> 'Customize Preferences' will be used instead.
- Random offers: Search results are shown randomly. The distance in kilometers refers to your saved postcode or your shared location. If you enable the radius, you will see products within the radius you select.

Postcode in search: The postcode you enter in the search only refers to the overview page. Once you are on a product's detail page, either your location (if enabled) or the postcode stored in your preferences will be used. If neither your location is enabled nor a postcode is stored, you will be shown randomly selected locations.
Inspire me
On your homepage ("For you" tab) you will find the option "Inspire me". This function shows you offers that lie outside your preset preferences. If, for example, you have indicated that you are mainly interested in concerts and books, an exhibition in a museum could be suggested to you here. This way, you can have a list of offers suggested to you that you might not have come across on your own.
Feeling lucky!
On your start page ("For you" tab) you will find the option "Feeling lucky". With this function you can have a randomly generated offer suggested to you. Surprise yourself!
